A magician has limited power and has to channel and use power(s) to achieve magick.

Depending on your beliefs, your life path, as God can have other names or forms but all (good) powers come from the source the origin. Therefore the supreme does not use magick.

I can agree with this to a certain extent, but I would like to state that magical power is the ability to manifest your will in the physical. Now we are considered to have Free Will, but let me put something else into perspective.

If you go to the fridge and you see a gallon of milk and a bottle of juice, you are left with a choice. Does God intervene when you pick up the milk vs the juice? This is a physical non-magical manifestation of your will to chose milk over juice.

So if you have free will to manifest your will in the physical, why would it be so difficult to believe you can also do the same thing in the spiritual? We are all spiritual beings that are not limited to the dimensions of the physical world. Would it be "God's" power that allows us to visit our loved ones and guide them after we have died or is it our choice to manifest?

To me, there is a divine source, but it should also be remembered that we HAVE the divine source within us and that without exercising our free will to manifest our desires in the spiritual, then there is no magic.

God will not interfere with our free will according to the scripture. Without magic, then God would not be a magician because to do so would violate our free will because the act of magic imposes on our free will if we do not ask for it, nor seek that manifestation in our lives.

Divine power is greater than magic and is not the same thing. So I would not consider God or any divinity to be a magician. However, Divinity does carry the power of Creation and this is not the same thing as manifestation.

The word 'magic',also have many meaning like any other word.first one is the word meaning,2)Attitudinal meaning3)There also have some secret meaning ,just like a secret word ...etc.Here also the meaning is not like a stage magician. One who can make the impossible to possible, then we say he had done a magic. Like that, almost everyone in the world will call , 'oh, GOD FATHER',when they are in trouble, openly or secretly; to make some magic. Most of the people in this world believe that HE can make magic. We will not call everyone as a mechanic. When we know that this person is repairing mobiles..etc, then only we call him to repair our things. Like that, every one calls GOD for his magical help, because he had done many works.

According to ,'law of karma(work)',God will not interfere in karma and its result directly, but HE can inspire to our intellect to do good things to get good results. When the intellect is working upon the divine inspirations of the DIVINE then it is called 'Divine intellect'(Divya budhi).

Of Magic he has defined,of magic be HIS source, the offer to learn a new way, knowleadge already learnt must be placed aside, and new knowleadge obsorbed and defined.
If i do not, always old knowleadge will bang heads with new, does not mean i have to replace what i know....in fact in time i know magic will become a part of evry thing else i know, join and grow as one i will,as will many others.Im interested in learning what you wish to teach Will,an open mind and heart i know il not miss much,i know and recognise your source to be of devine makeup....yet also recognise it to be different, this in itself tells me i must be open to learn it,to judge what i dont know,up against the things i do know, would be shollow....you have my attention and my honour Will......id like to start by learning your definition of manifestation of will, please define and explain.

Maharathi, Thank you for writing this explanation to your original post. I now understand from a different perspective.

From what you wrote I think a word that could interchange with "magic" would be miracle?
When a person has become overwhelmed by circumstances in thier life then they may pray for divine intervention. As you wrote either publically (with a group) or in private.

The Law of Karma of every action has a reaction. This is true for other religious beliefs but is worded differently or may be called something different. What we do to others comes back to us, either good for good or bad for bad. Even what we think, or say can come back to us. God has given us free will to make our own choices in this life, either good or bad. It is true HE can be a guide for making better choices in spiritual, and important life choices. The daily choices in our lives we would use our common sense. The basic life coping skills that a person is taught when young, at school, and so on through a persons' life. These most people inately have, yet you will meet some people you just can't help but say, they have no common sense.

Being a sensitive (gifted) I do believe in guardian spirits (may be called angels) the invisible divine that are around in this earthly world. Even those that are not gifted, have unseen guardians. This is different than the inner mental voice that may tell you don't do this because this is wrong. Most mentally normal people have a conscious that warns them if they are considering doing something wrong. This inner voice lets them know before but it would be our own free will to do or not to do something.

Back to the spiritual guardians on earth. Now, these spirits are unseen but present. They can directly or indirectly communicate to us. Some people are more intuned with their guardians, guides, angels or what other name you give them. Here is something that happened to me.

I was in my earlier 20's and I had just left the library carrying several books and walked to the corner. I was looking down at the books I was carrying waiting for the stoplight to change to cross the street. It changed and I was still looking down and trying to look at a book I was carrying. As I was walking, still not paying any attention to what was around me, I stopped because I could not move. It was like something held me or blocked me from moving. I looked up from the books to see what was going on. At the moment I looked up a car sped past me. It did not stop for the red light. It went by me within a few feet. Then I looked for any other cars and there were none and I was able to move. After that I was fully aware of my surroundings. (I have had other "divine interventions" through out my life but this one was easiest to write about. Things like this even more intense have occured.)

Was this divine intervention? Did this impede my free will? Yes to both. I believe there is divine intervention that does affect or change your free will. It was my choice to cross the street and assume it was safe to cross. It was my choice not to pay attention to my surroundings. What do you think? Am I off base here? Does free will and divine intervention work together for the good of a person?
