Well now for the rest of the story. About 6 weeks later a Lost poster appeared for a cat that had turned up missing. Also in October during another trip home after work I see this adorable coyote pup running down the road.
This is awesome! And a secondary thought to add. We humans can often times be the cat, but we can also become the mouse. We should all show consideration for our actions and not "feast" on each other because we do not know when we will be the mouse.
I remember this face looming over me as a child. I didn't tell mom... Honest!

The seals are rehabed at University of New England and then released back into the ocean. This one is doing well and should be released in a few months. Along with the 5 others my daughter and I assisted in the rescue of so far this year.

A Hunting Experiance

Seal training and Wolf Inquiry Project
This Saturday 6/13/09 Southern Maine Community College (Jewett Hall), in South Portland Maine from 10am to 2pm. Harbor seal training for assisting in the rescue of stranded Harbor seals. This training is required if you wish to have direct contact with the seals. They are protected under Federal law and it is illegal to come within 150 feet without authorization.
